Cindy Crushes Programming: Hunger Games Escape Room
It is so weird to be going back to Panem but since the new movie came out this month we knew we would make a brand new in person escape room in the world of The Hunger Games. A lot of the programs I made when I first became a librarian were Hunger Games themed.
Plot: Come to the Capital and try to save the Victors as an attack takes place from within.
Supplies:
- Breakout edu Kit
- Random other decor
- Map of Panem
- Morse Code Guide and word in morse code
- Propaganda posters
- Decor
Directional Lock: Up Down West East
I will use a map of Panem. District 1, District 10, District 4, District 12
Four Digit Lock
Find the Question: What games had district 12’s first game win and when was the last?
1074 10 74 (I had poster to show this)
Three Digit Lock
How many Katniss fingers in the salute?
Tiktok how many number in the clock
3 12
Key lock hide the key put on small box. Small box held the word in morse.
Word Lock
I used Morse Code
Bread
Final thoughts: I really had fun. We had teens cosplay with outfits they had made themselves. I Would include one more lock. This one was an easier one for the teens to solve.
