More Barbie Content? More Barbie Content by Riley Jensen discussing Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse

It has been made pretty clear this week that this is all about the upcoming release of the new Barbie movie that has got so many people excited. Despite all of this excitement, I think we all need even more Barbie content to be excited about. So, let’s talk about another excellent source of Barbie, Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse.

Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse is a series that you can watch on Netflix that shows Barbie living in her dreamhouse with her three sisters and all of the situations that they get into while living in Malibu. This show has many delightful characters that may, or may not, be in the new Barbie movie.

This show has everything you need: Barbie with her endless careers, a devoted Ken, sweet female friendships, and lots of silly situations. Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse is not going to have a lot of the deep plot that the upcoming movie will have, but it definitely has some memorable moments that show off Barbie being awesome and Ken having some real “kenergy” moments.
Some notable moments that should really convince you to watch the shows are:
- Ken finding a way to clone Barbie purely because he wants to spend more time with her but she has all of the careers under the sun.
- A bear that occasionally just pops throughout episodes and can drive for some reason.
- Barbie’s friends doing a whole game show to find out which one of them knows Barbie the best, and Raquelle failing miserably.
- Barbie needing to get her license even though she’s already a racecar driver.
- Schlond poofa, I will not be elaborating on that one.
If you need more Barbie in your life, this show is delightful to casually watch. I have watched the whole thing through multiple times, and it is always funny. There is no such thing as too much Barbie, and I live by that.
