If you’ve indulged over the holidays and, like me, feel the need to stay away from the cheese platter or your favorite bakery for a while, I may have the perfect idea to kick off your 2023 reading list: stories filled with delicious dishes, behind-the-scenes restaurant antics, and culinary pleasures from around the world.

In French Kissing in New York, my new young adult rom-com out this week, main character Margot was born to cook.
