TPiB: Last Minute Valentines for The Tween/Teens
AHHH! Valentine’s Day is next week, and while you may not be doing a full-on program for your tween/teens, you are thinking that you want to do SOMETHING for your tweens/teens. So take a minute (or ten) and create some Valentines to hand out to your tweens/teens that they can have some fun with, or a take-home craft that needs little-to-no supervision! Also, you can make supplies available with an instruction sheet in your teen area after school for some quick, fun, and easy programming. Not all programming has to be a major production.Easy to Create Valentine Ideas
MAD LIBS VALENTINES
Awesome idea from Design Mom, you take a book of Mad Libs (or create your own), roll them up, and attach cool sayings to them.
PS – Karen made these last night with the Tweens. It was easy and fun. They sell the Mad Libs books at the check out at Old Navy.
Check out the right hand side bar at Design Mom, they had a ton of homemade Valentine ideas.
‘STACHE VALENTINES
Create your own saying, add a mustache in the middle that they can cut out, and hand out (with our without a sucker- ours will get leftover Dum-Dum suckers from a certain teen program in January).
